I'm asking some questions. What difference would I hear in a Pioneer Elite Vsx-81txv compared to my current Yamaha HTR-5740 (specifically on the JBL 4311s) and what difference would I hear in a new pair of mains (powered by the HTR-5740).
It looks like most of the home audio guys are asleep. I'm having trouble making the decision. I just need to know what the main differences are (would the Pio Elite have a better build?).
Is this a pending purchase, Andre? Or did you just wake up dreaming about this? And how exactly are we supposed to know what you would hear? You ain't us (to broadly paraphrase Pogo).
I'm just asking what the main differences (maybe not in sound) would be between them (like better build, possible crossover differences, component choices). Thanks.
Hey, it works for me. What differences do you think there would be between Paradigm and KLH? I was thinking that they might use better components in their crossover and better drivers (along with build quality and finish...and NO spring clip connections) . I'm really not sure. Is there somewhere I could read to find out?

How can anyone definitively answer your question? No one can say what you would hear.
