Hi, I tried setting up the surround sound on my kenwood receiver but having problems. When testing the speakers they all seem to work but only the front r/l speakers work when the receiver is being used. The receiver only shows the r/l speakers on the screen and no matter what buttons I push, I can't get the center, sub or rear speakers to work. Can anyone offer any suggestions how to fix this? Thanks!

Kim, what input source are you using, and into which connections?
Your player may not be configured properly for 5.1.
Have you check the connections section of the manuals?

.

I assume this is a new receiver. If so, dealer support is your best choice. Can I assume you paid for that feature/benefit/advantage?

Again, here it comes. Like I said before.
How is your dealer helping you?

This is a used system. I got it several years ago.

How do you turn the mute off on the VR406? It doesn't have a mute button and I have no idea how it got turned on.
