Hi, recently I noticed that when I am turning the volume knob up or down (manual or using the remote) I hear a hizz sound on the right speaker. The occurence is intermitent. Also, this happens only when there is music playing because I tried turning the volume up and down without playing music and I don't hear any hizz sound. I also tried interchanging the speakers and the hizz sound still comes from the right channel of the amp so I think this has nothing to do with the speakers. What is wrong with the amp? Should I take it back to the dealer? Actually planning to do so but I just want to get an idea what is causing this or where the problem is... Thank you in advance for your inputs...
Arnold, try swapping the left and right the interconnects at the source so as to prove once and for all it is the amp. If so, then definately return it to your dealer or service center. It will be one or the other it appears.
