"Protector" flashed in display. Later realized that my left speaker was disconnected and over loaded right speaker. I blew 2 fuses(125v 8a). Replaced with (250v 8a). Tured reciever power back on and blew new fuses.
I've been told the output transister was damaged. Are the 250v 8a fuses ok to use? What should I do to get things going again?

Joe, I'm not familiar with the 945, but fuses should be replaced with the same value as the original equipment. Hopefully the blowing of the fuses protected the circuitry from damage, but obviously something is still wrong which is causing too much current flow. Recheck the wiring to make sure that something like a loose strand isn't causing a short.
