What is the problem with the 600s now? I just swapped a 500 for a 600 and now people are complaining about them. Is this phase problem something I can hear and need to correct?

Oh! I have a 500 (with the LFE bug) and considered getting a 600 (now 601). Regardless of the subwoofer, have you noticed a change in sound (richer) at equivalent volume? I am saying this because I also have a 7-8 year old SR515pro (prologic only) and I miss its sound qualities, especially the bass presence.
For your question, I did not research on this but they say the 601 doesn't have the problem.
