Ive jus bought to proplus bassboxes 450 watts each (8 inch subs)n i am about to buy a voodoo 2x500watt amplifier and i was thinkin if i should buy it to connect to my hi-fi in order to achive the full potential of my speakersmy hi fi only has a small 2*84watts POWER so wot shud i do and i think the amplifier is a car amp any help is taken to consideration Thanks
The best thing to do is sell the sub-boxes and do not buy the car amps.
Buy a subwoofer and power amp made for home audio.
Don't try to do this car audio to home audio conversion. It just doesn't work properly. If it is done right, it is going to cost you a lot of money and it would still look like an abomination (waaaay ghetto).
How many impressive home systems have you seen or heard that is made entirely out of car audio? It may seem like a cool idea at the moment, but in the end you will have to grow up and realize it just ain't tight as you think it should be.
