hi guys, im just starting out and have the oppurtunity to get my hands on either a 304 or an old 3020B...though i've never heard a 3020 im very tempted by the legend.
It would be running a pair of custom shelfs with vifa drivers, 8ohm, qite efficient, small bedroom.
How does the 304 compare to the 3020B, mainly in clarity and tone (not too concerned with power)?
which one would u take?

thanks for the link! it does reassure me that my speakers will run fine on the NAD's, however i've already had that suspicion, as i've seen my dad run them on one of his tube amps (15w) just fine. What im more interested in is how either *sounds*, and unfortunately i havent found any detail comparison of the 304 and 3020....i guess what im trying to ask is, for a 19 year old just starting his first real rig, which would be more suitable?
will the 304 sound notably more detailed and clear than the 3020?
or is the 3020 worth getting because of its distinctive character/tone/nostalgia?
