I use to have a stereo system in my room but I removed it about 9 months ago b/c I didn't use it much (all my music is on the computer). Im considering putting it back in, but this time ill be hooking it up to the receiver. The receiver I have and plan on using is a Sony-De475. For the speakers im going to go with Athena AS-B2.2. I mostly listen to Punk, Ska, Goth, and Techno, high on the bass This system will be used for 90% music, eventually ill be hooking it to a TV/DVD. i was reading up on some subs and i came across the Athena AS-P4000 & AS-P6000. which would be a wiser sub to buy? velodyne VRP-1000 -OR- Athena AS-P4000 -OR- AS-P6000 If anyone has any suggestions for some subs, your input would be greatly appreciated. Bronze Member Username: Kinggimp82Post Number: 43 Registered: May-05 | whats ur budget for a sub? of those 3 id say go with AS-P6000. how much does that model go for anyway? two other good subs are the hsu stf-2 or svs PB10-NSD. but those run about $400. i own a hsu stf-2 myself. |

New member Username: DigitalgregPost Number: 2 Registered: Jul-06 | the 6000 goes for $249.95 + SH, but i can get it for $230 (SH included). im trying to stay close to $250 for the Sub. i was guessing the 6000 myself, its alittle to big foe me, but when i move it will be just right. thank you |
