Hello everybody, I was hoping for some advise on what I should do. I have 3 rooms that I want to outfit with sound. Room number 1 is my TV room and that is where I want to set up an amp and a surround speaker system. Room 2 is my computer room and I would like to have two small speakers powered from the TV room and Room 3 is a sun room on my deck where I would also like two small speakers powered from the TV room. The big question is what system/s should I be looking at to accomplish this ? I want to be able to have just the surround speakers on for movies and all the speakers on for a parties or just background noise. Is this possible with only one amp or am I asking to much. Any help or references to a good website with info on these questions would be greatly appreciated.

If you want the same sopurce material playing through all the speakers at the same time with just the ability to turn speakers on and off, you can manage with just one amplifier. If you want more than one source an=t any one time, you need an amplifier/receievr with two zone capability. You should buy a speaker switch box with impedance matching autoformers and volume controls. Any decent audio shop should be able to provide a simple system lay out for you to consider.
