I'm thinking about getting pair of Infinity IL40 as front floorstand for my system for $400. My friend has them and they sound good. I also heard many good thing about Athena AS-F2.2. How do they sound for karaokie?
I probably do 50% karaokie and 50% for HT. I only listen to music in my car so I don't think I would listen to music much at home. And I also look at the HK AVR-635 and MARANTZ SR5600, at the same price range which one would you guys prefer?

are you looking for a system for home use or in a bar / restaurant...

It is interesting to me that you would use an HT system for karaokie, hence my question.

They are for home use. I always have friends or relative come over and we love to sing karaokie. I also watch movie too. I actually use only the front speakers only for karaokie on stereo mode. I think I might need another extra power amp to run those two speakers but never experienced karaokie using the receiver only.
The room dimension is 21x25.
