New member Username: OstPost Number: 7 Registered: Apr-06 | I have Marantz sr 4320 and was planning to get one of these: -Paradigm studio 20 v3 -B&W DM602 S3 -Ascend Acoustics CBM-170 or CMT-340 Most of the music i listen to in my 10*14 room is classical and jazz< but i used to be a metalhead in the past and it would be nice to have a little bass ( tight, not deep and boomy) |

Even the B&W's could use better amplification. The Marantz is a decent budget receiver and would likely pair well with the Ascend's. |

Given chance to buy Haydn or Bach into 4 ohm (which were my original choices, but i knew Marantz wouldn't handle 4 0hm load)Now it turns out its not even good for Paradigms and B&W.... I flashed down 500 bucks.Pity. |

I used to own that Marantz receiver and used it with Paradigm Mini Monitors in my bedroom. They were a good match. I sold that system to friend who is still enjoying it as his main system. |

I got their Cd player cc 4300 and sr 4320 amp .Now after looking to MF and NAD i have listened to Marantz PM 7001 int.amp and it's such a hard choice. I got to come back to Harveys and give it another try. VA Haydn sounded very nice.They did not have any MS, so I am still open for ideas |
