I have an all-region Samsung DVD 941. I'd like to disable hdcp because my 50" Samsung plasma has only one hdmi input and that is reserved for my Cabvlevision Hi-def DVR. I found this hack that supposedly disables hdcp: "Press angle, 4, 3, 2, 7, angle...and then the TV shows HDCP off. Is anyone experienced with this? I'd like to be able to send upconverted 720p video through the component video cables but I do not want to mess up my player in the process. Thanks to anyone who can lend a hand!
