Hi guys this from Fixya,

http://www.fixya.com/problems-solutions/t103264,p29821/Harman-Kardon-AVR-5-Recei ver.aspx

I'll appriciate any help you cn give me.

Thanks,

after a power jump( like a short "wave" of voltage that's higher then normal) occurred in my house the receiver stoped working and wont turn on at all. when i connect it to a power source it smells like something is burning. I opened it and couldn't see anything that seemed burned. what are the odds i could fix it myself by changing a fuse? do I have to take it to a repair lab?
