Spring cleaning

So the Rotel had a hum from the FR channel, and I took it off-line for a while.
Jan's spring cleaning thread gave me pause, so I popped the top for a look-see.

A quick inspection showed a POS on an input device(please excuse the pic quality)

A quick connection cleaning and re-seat along with a cleaning and full sweep of the pots, seen here in Blue

as well as a scuffing of the 10(ten) 7 amp fuses in the device should have me ready to go.

And voila! The piece is operating as good as new.

Jan had suggested spring cleaning a while back(spring comes early in Texas, as compared to Ontario), and what a payoff!
Speakers are next, although they were apart recently for minor surgery.

Cheers!

My, that's a pretty small amplifier you have there, Nuck. Is that what they sell in Canada? No way to enlarge that picture, huh? Oh well, nice jaunty angle you have it sitting at! Very "c'est la vie"!

Havin issues with the pic's here, Jan.
Houston we have a problem.
Gosh I suck at the pic thing, shooda called the kid for help.
I hope you get the point.
The point being the one holding up my hat.

After that little adventure, the jist was that alittle cleaning goes a long way.

Please do not roast me on a spit for it.(grimace)

Yup 10(I did not trace the circuits).
And the caps are built for bear.
Funny enough, the boards are printed in English and French, Canada only?

"FOGHORN & LEGHORN" loudspeakers (high/mids and lows)? I guess that would be a GENIUS design? It utilizes CHICKENHAWK drivers! I guess that will also put CAIN&CAIN some competition! according to the chicken hawk they also make nice AMPS using those patented EGG capacitors for the power supply section. So, for all of you audio entrepreneurs, there's the name of your company! hold on for a minute? I think a company named KLEGG audio HATCHED before this company is born? their amplifier lines are called FOSTER FARMS chickens!
