I have the Cerwin Vega V-12F's. Only difference between the V and E series is the E series has onboard control.

They sound good for what you pay I must say. Obviously not extremely high-end, but I love mine. Make sure you've got a good 125-150W RMS to give them. I ran mine for a while with just 60W, and the output was good, but now it's great that I have 125W RMS going to each. The speakers (woofers) are linear to about .6", and can be pushed for extremely short periods of time to a full 1" of excursion. THIS WILL GREATLY LOWER THE LIFE OF THE SPEAKERS HOWEVER!

But that's just to show you that CV = Great power, for a great price! Sound quality is good as well.

Sherwood amps are pretty good, overall.
Outlaw used the Sherwood as a platform for their products, and improved them, I think.
Sherwood=good
