Is anyone out there having issues with their Azur 540R's "RDS" function? Just took one home for a demo and found the RDS function doesn't work at all. Even when following the manuals instructions. Returned to the shop to try the dealer's demo... no joy.

Yup...I had one and the RDS didn't work either. Asked the dealer and they said it was because the FM reception was weak. The 540R unit in the store also didn't work but the NAD right beside it displayed the RDS stuff fine. It wasn't that big a deal for me so I just did without the RDS.
I had the same problem with my previous Yamaha RX-V650, but my CA does display RDS info, not that it matters that much, but I suppose if a unit has the function you would want it to be functional.
The RDS information appears to be affected by how strong or weak the FM signal is.
