New member Username: Yzerman19_1Post Number: 2 Registered: Nov-05 | i am buying a new receiver because my other one burnt out. i bought the sony str-de598. the new receiver has 90w per channel and 6 channels. my speakers max power is 200 watts does that mean it will take it or should i find out what the rms is first? thanks everyone. |

If a Sony claims 90wpc then on a good day it probably puts out about 40wpc.
