Previously, I had a VCR connected to my PC to enable me to convert tunes from talk shows, etc. to mp3's and then burn them to CD. I have now replaced the VCR with a DVD recorder and would like to do the same thing, but just can't figure out how to do it. When I take the audio output jacks and connect them to the line-in jack on the PC, I now only get static for the audio output - can anyone help ?
first make sure you have connected the audio OUTPUT jacks because if its a recorder it will have audio input jacks also I imagine. Try playing around in the setup menu under audio, you might have to change some thing to analogue output or something.
