I have a Creative Inspire 5.1 Digital 5700 speaker system plugged into a SB Live 5.1 soundcard. Since I spilt some beer onto the decoder amplifier I can't get any sound out of the front right speaker. Do Creative speakers work when plugged directly into the sound card, given the right connections/splitters etc? I tried plugging one of them into the back of my VCR but got nothing out, although I'm not sure if I did it right.
