Which is positive on these, the wires run side by side like a lamp cord and end in RCA plugs.

One has a stripe to tell it apart easily. It does not matter which you use for + or - as long as you use the corresponding ends to the same pole on both amp and speaker.

To make it simple, run the stripe to the positive conenction in all locations.

As Quinn said, it doesn't really matter, as long as you do the same at each end.

If it was a black stripe in white, I'd probably go with negative trace (stripe), as black is typically negative or ground.

However, it could be a black cable with a white stripe, my convention wouldn't really stand up, as the no-stripe cable is "more" black.

I generally go for negative trace, but it's not based on any scientific reasoning. Any installers want to shed some light on any working standards?
