Not much mention on here about Polk's top of the line speakers. I heard a pair of Lsi 9s yesterday (beautiful cherry finish)and they really sang! They were hooked up to an Onkyo 901/Integra 8.4. I'm no audiophile by any stretch, but they sounded every bit as good to me as the Dynaudio 52 special editions and Paradigm's Studio 40s. Loved the look too. I'm just wondering if they were the right receivers to listen to them with. I know Onkyo has had problems with their power supplies but the 901 has a switch on the back if it's hooked up to 4ohm speakers. The sales rep said the 901 should'nt have any problems driving those fine speakers. Then again, he was the "sales rep."
