50% music/50% HT. Old school Klipsch KG SPeakers and SVS sub. Found one for 509.00 shipped from an authorized dealer.

Thanks

Enjoy

Don't know that particular model (I have an SR8400), but I'm sure it's only missing some bells and whistles from mine and not any real sound quality. I'm very pleased with mine.

$509 new and authorized is not bad at all.

However for another $91 you can get a brand new 5500 which was Marantz's replacement for both the 5400 AND the 6400, also from an authorized dealer:

Thank you. It's a hard choice trying to decide between Marantz, Pioneer 1015, and HK 330/335.

The Pioneer 1015 would be fine if you get it for $300-400 and are doing mainly HT, but if you're demanding about music the other 2 would be better IMO.

If you go thru: http://www.cambridgesoundworks.com/store/category.cgi?category=sbb_marantz
During checkout you can use coupons!
Try this:TURNITUP 10% off of $150 purchase or
hifi10 10% off a $200 purchase.
The only catch is if you use it once you can not use it again, so use wisely.
A SR5500 for $540 with free shipping and purchased from a authorized on-line dealer!

Is the 6400 new or a refurb? The refurb's have a 1 year warranty while the new 5500 would have a 3 year. Something else to consider(peace of mind).
Also the remote on the 6400 gives more options than the 5500 and has more power.
