I have the TX-SR502 from Onkyo... it came with my 770 Home Theatre In A Box Setup...

Here is the dilemma... It has 2 component inputs, one for DVD and one for something else (currently xbox)...

I need more component inputs... XBox 360 and PS3 and Revolution is soon coming...

Is it my best bet to pick a new reciever with more inputs or do get some form of a switch???

So... i don't know much about audio...

Depends on your real concern here. Is it cost? Equipment flexibility, now and in the future? I'm not sure your question can be answered without more information regarding your preferences, likes, dislikes, etc.

JVC makes several selectors as well. I have owned one (at the time of purchase it was their top of the line) for over 10 years and it has been absolutely superb. Check around. I think you can find a selector that is less expensive than receiver replacement. But it might be a close one.
