can anyone tell me how to start setup on this reciever after i have hooked up all speakers and inputs, the manual doesnt help at all

I have the 325 and the manual does explain how to set it up. What exactly are you trying to do? The OSD help too, make sure you use a composite or S-video connection to the TV. OSD doesn't work with component video.
Of course, this note is so old, he probably figured it out by now.

Could be. I just figured there may be others reading this forum trying to figure out the same thing. As a new HK owner I guess I am overly enthusiastic
