I wanted to get two things sorted out ??

(a) Which is the best players/make to purchase that can play all possible media (DVD's disc) and all possible formats under the sun. That is one aggressive monster that can run anything you put to play.

(b) Which is the best method/ software to copy DVD-9 to DVD-5. How to get acheive maximum without loss of quality.

DVD Shrink - No loss of audio quality, video compression is hardly ever even noticable especially if all the special features and menus aren't included
