hey guys, I'm considering this player but am wondering if i can use my onkyo 6.1 receiver with it and still get my 6.1 dolby digital EX sound? I know it says it is Dolby Digital Virtual Surround which means it creates a 5.1 feeling from flat panel TV's. I'm hardly and expert and was wondering if someon could help me with this. Are you pleased with the video and sound from this player? Thanks.
i have an Onkyo 6.1 reciever and the 578A and EX and Matrix work great. i'm not an expert either but i believe if you have your dvd player hooked up to your reciever you dont need to worry about that virtual surround stuff
