Hooking up Monitor Audio B2 - help ~_~

Hi,

I just recently purchased Monitor Audio B2 speakers and will soon be receiving a NAD C320BEE Integrated amp. I was planning on just making my own speaker cables from the guide on audioholics. However I was going to use 16 GA because I will only being needing about 5 feet.

This is my first set-up and I am new to this. The B2's have 4 inputs with brackets that can be placed between each pairs. Do I need to use all 4 of these, and if not, what do I do with the brackets and how should I wire them up? Also, will the banana plugs just go straight in?

You can do 2 things.
You can just use the top 2, with the brackets.

or

Better is if you have 4 cables to each speaker, and connect 2 to top, and 2 to buttom (without the brackets) This way will sound better. You have to connect 2 cables per each hole in the amp. Since you are making your own cable, you might want to go this rout.

I don't know about the bananas - just try it if they go in, you are in luck.
