I had 4t's and bi-wiring made no difference in sound. It's sending speaker cable seperately to the tweeter and woofer. The only time I noticed a difference was in bi-amping, but I ended up getting even better results with a better quality amplifier. I always think simple (less wires) is better.

so should i run a pair of wires from the receiver to the sub then from sub to the 4t or run the wires from receievr to the 4t straight and use a separate subwoofer cable?

run 'em seperate - one run to the 4t's, another to the sub.
