As a one that own NAD for long time, like the sound, and now own the T773 receiver and not happy so to say... I wish that NAD will return back to be one of the leader company in the sound market. And as of that I have decided to write down my wish list that to my opinion NAD need to fix so in the future I and others folks like me will return back to NAD products with high confidence:
1. Fix the hiss noise 2. Fix the hum issue
Improve their center service with attention to customer oriented.
Bring other (outside) company to audit their quality products (like ISO9000...) Certify their product with THX (to ensure quality products)
Do more reliability testing for their product before shipment to customers.
From product point of view:
Keep the sound as it is with small improvement toward details, the bass is good. Add mono connection Add bass control to each channel Keep the receiver simple from feature - no need for extra sound like "music", "sport"... the ERAS mode is enough, and I like the fact that there are no features like in the Yamaha receiver.
If NAD will be able to fix all these issues, especially the quality items, I will conceder (after full analysis and inspection) to return back to their product. Till then, I am moving to ARCAM (most likely) or Rotel.
