Recently got a Yamaha 5760 receiver, looking for a very entry level sub. Looking at three models:

Yamaha YST-SW315
JBL E150P
Velodyne VX-10

Mainly watching movies, but do enjoy listening to music of all kinds as well. Any suggestions on these or any others I should look at would be appreciated.

Here is another possible choice with great bang-for-the-buck value.
HSU is a very well respected, high quality brand.

So your budget is less than US$200? I'm thinking the B&W AWS 750 is over budget! :-)

The STF-1 is still over budget at $299 but it's probably worth it to spend a bit more than $200 for a sub. I'd go for that if you can swing it.

Wher did he made mention of his budget? I do agree for a "very entry level" ASW 750 is a bit much. I also agree with the STF-1--300.00 but good. HSU is 699 believe still a bit much.
