NAD typically has a slighly warmer and richer sound I find. Also keep in mind that even with their home Theatre (T) series they focus more on music reproduction than film. So decide what your primary use is going to be and consider that. Also, find a store that sells both and have them play them for you -- but ask that they be connected to the same cd player, speakers, etc. A good Hi-Fi shop won't have any trouble doing that for you. If you don't listen with 'everything else being equal' there isn't any point listening to them side by side.
Anyway, I hope that helps. Let us know what you decide and how they sounded when you do listen to them side by side.
