In fact, it's based on the same Shanling design as the CD-25. Check it out: Same Burr-Brown 1732 24-bit/96kHz DAC Same HDCD decoding chip Same Philips CDM-12.1 transport controlled by a CD-7mkII servo Same The OPA 2134 op amps are used for the output stage and low pass filtering Same Thick brushed-aluminum front plate and solid chassis Different price tag. Music Hall is $600.00. This one is $399.00. Link below to the site selling it, specs etc. Could be the best deal in digital players as I write this.
