I know, I know... those are fairly divergent choices. But both have 5-speaker systems - without the sub - available for the exact same price. I've heard Athenas are a good match for an HK, since the brightness of the speakers complements the "laid back" HK. I know very little about Mordaunt Shorts, but they have a great reputation for excellent sound. They're also 4 ohm speakers (I believe), and that's a strike against as it will take more current to push that load.
So are any of you familiar with these speakers, or even the systems themselves (Athena Point5 MKII, Mordaunt Short Premiere)?
