My needle fell out....

Unregistered guest | Hey all! I just bought this really cool old record player (like thirty years old) from a garage sale with hundreds of records with it and i tried playing one of the records and it worked ok. but then the needle fell out...  and i've been trying to put it back in. it's a little pin with a white cylinder at the end and two little sticky outy things on either side (one on each). so. could anyone please tell me what to do? i'm lost. thanks  |

J. Vigne Unregistered guest | You probably have a ceramic cartridge. The stylus fits under a small metal spring assembly. It's posssible the spring has lost its tension or has fallen off itself. Give these folks a try: http://www.needledoctor.com/ |
