When I plugged it in, nothing happened. It says to let it charge for 4 hours for full use and 30 minutes for minimum to no use but nothing has happened. It has been plugged in for an hour or more. PLEASE HELP! THIS WAS MY BIG CHRISTMAS GIFT!

Have you tried the reset switch accessible through the small hole in the left side of the case? I have a non-functioning power switch (probably due to the bath the unit took :-() but the reset button usually wakes the unit up.
