Multi region / Multi system DVD player

Anonymous	Posted on Thursday, January 29, 2004 - 04:43 GMT Hi , Can any one recommend a good "Multi Region / Multi system DVD players " , prefered with SACD/DVD-A.Which should be able play NTSC & PAL DVD's (DVD-V)and Should be able to produce output in NTSC / PAL.

A true Universal Player! I suspect such a machine doesn't exist, but if anyone makes it, I'll bet it's Panasonic. For some time, theirs was the only 3 system VHS vcr made.

Plays SACD & DVD-A. Supports PAL & NTSC (progressive scan only in NTSC), I'm not sure about SECAM. The original as-supplied by Pioneer is not multi-region, but most manufacturers convert and sell the code-free versions. (I think manufacturers cannot supply multi-region players). Oh, and did I mention it's cheap!
