Mixing 4 and 8 ohms in one receiver

I've only just seen this site but all of you seem very intelligent so here's my question, and I'm sorry if you've already covered this. I'm putting together a home theater in a small room and my current gear is as follows. B&W 602 for fronts Polk bookshelf for backs and B&W center soon to be purchased. I'm running the b&w's off and old onkyo stereo reciever but am looking at the surround Denons and Marantzes in the $500 range because I don't play really loud (more concerned with accurate sound). Now to throw a wrench in the works my friend moved and gave me his Magneplanar SMGa's. Are there any surround receivers in the 500 dollar range that won't mind mixing 4 and 8 ohm speakers? I'll probably get a sub too which will take even more stress off the reciever. Or should I keep the maggies as a music only setup with my old stereo onkyo which they sound fantastic with anyway? I appreciate any thoughts on the subject
