I am in the market for a new subwoofer. I currently have an older Energy Take 5 satellite system. I have thinking about an Energy S8.2, Energy S10.2 to complement my current speakers, or something along the lines of a Pinnacle PS Sub 150. The sub will be used for home theater, and occasionally used for music. I am on a budget, definitely under $500(US). The room is relatively large. Finished basement with carpeted floor and drywall. 16 feet wide by 30 feet long, and 8-foot ceiling. Any input or other suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance, Conteur
Try HSU VTF-2 ($449) or STF-2 ($399). You won't find better for the price!
