Paul's subs for sale Eclipse and Mag

First is a 12" Eclipse TI. Bought from Issac W back a few months for $255 shipped. It's a DVC 4ohm that can take 1000w rms easily. I bought it to play around with it in HT but just never got around to it. (I'm happy with the Q).    When I got it, it had a torn surround that I repaired on my own. https://www.ecoustics.com/electronics/forum/car-audio/355935.html The surround repair kit ran me $24 and took roughly a day and 1/2. What's left is a high end sub with a brand new surround. I'll even throw in the extra surround that came with the kit. I've seen this sub priced hundreds more than I paid. Next is the 15" SI Mag. Used lightly and is also a DVC 4ohm sub that is rated 950wrms but can take more. I used it in HT and was VERY impressed with the SQ it had. I've been holding it for someone since March and I hope he doesn't hate me but I'm tired of these subs taking up bar space. This sub lists for $500 new on the site and as many know I got it during a group buy with a slashed price.     What i'm asking is this: $250 shipped for the Eclipse I never got to hear how it sounds and it does have a new pair of lips. $300 shipped for the Mag No imperfections and was never abused. Heck, wasn't ever in a car lol. |

I'm looking to sell her, not experiment. Like I said, I've seen this sub brand new(Eclipse) for $799. http://www.caraudiomag.com/specialfeatures/0112cae_subwoofer_comparison/ I wish I could give a review but that would just not be responsible of me. When I got it I hooked it up to my home stereo with a modest 100w just to make sure it worked. That was as far as I've taken her. I could give you a 10 page write up on the Mag but seeing as most everyone is aware of the Mag and its' performance that would be a waste. I just don't have the first hand experience with the Eclipse to even begin a comparison. Sorry. The link posted however does go into detail. I'm positive the Mag will sell here and if the Eclipse has a slow showing I'll put her on Ebay. I just hate the fees. Thanks. |
