Need help with sub box. Take a look might help you too.

Hey Iam trying to build a box for the back of my jeep. I was wondering if someone has software that can do this or your good in math here is the problem. We know 32" width 11" hight 3.25 cubic feet volume what is the depth. Thats what I Need to figure out. If anyone know how to figure out please help and be specific. Thank you

You don't need software you need a calculator, or a pen and paper. Then as we all know to find the volume of a box is LxWxD= the answer, and as you have 32x11xD=3.25cuft we can move the numbers about to get D= 3.25/32x11 but as you can't have two different units of measure in one sum you need to convert 3.25cuft to cu in . So multiply 3.25 by 1728( the number of cu in in a cuft) so you end up with 5616 divided by 352(32x11). Which is 15.955 or to make life easier when cutting the wood 16.
so to get 3.25cu ft your box needs to be 11x32x16. Remember that this is the measurement of the inside of the box. You will need to add some extra internal volume for anything that takes up box volume like subs and ports.
