i have a Pontiac Grand AM GT1 2001 with the monsoon audio option and i want to put a woofer in the trunk but i don't know if i can hook my amp up to the system because the head unit is stock and obviosly has no sub pre-outs i was wondering if i can get by this some how with a type of an add on that can take the wires in the back and make them emulate pre-outs or can i just unhook my back speakers and plug them into my amp. my amp i am getting is a jl audio 1000/1 any help or suggestions will be appriciated.
