B/c in parallel it would be 1 ohm and the amp wouldn't handle it....I switched out the speaker and got a Kicker compVR dual 4-ohm 15" sub instead. Silver Member Username: JmloughreyFarmington, CT Post Number: 307 Registered: Jul-04 | ....sounds like 1000s of other systems to me...nothing real mindblowing...and i bet you paid an arm and a leg for it... my only advice is wire the dual 4 ohm kicker down to 2 ohms, throw that on your amp and be gentle with the gain control (IT IS NOT A VOLUME CONTROL!) because you'll be overpowering the sub with the 600 watts. |

Polk Audio db6750 6-3/4" Component System FRONT Polk db675 6-3/4" 2-way Speakers REAR No amp, running 23 RMS on each speaker from Alpine headunit. All together, the whole system, what do you think it cost me? Is there another system out there better and cheaper? |
