To make the subs hit the hardest you first want to get a good position, this is different for every car so play around with it till it sounds good from the drivers seat. Then the box is what makes the sound, so make sure you got the correct Cu Ft. I wouldnt suggest bandpass, i would go sealed, but your choice.
not a fan of bandpass...they are tuned high to sound loud basically...i dont know how rockford feels about there subs in a bandpass if they reccommend it...
