So I just bought a BMW 323 convertible with the upgraded HK sound system (which absolutely sucks by the way)and am going to upgrade the speakers all around as well as the head unit but that is another thread for another day.... and my question is.... can you just pop off the door panels in cars equiped with side airbags? I have installed two different cars and for those I just used my handle door panel tool and poped the rivets all around and lifted up where the panel meets window.... will the same technique work for the bimmer or will I get a faceful of airbag?
