My local shope starting carrying Diamond Audio subs. The owner swears by them. Has anyone heard these? Are they good for sound quality. I was going to get a Kappa Perfect 12.1, but now he's got me interested in these Diamonds. What do yall think is the best pick for sound quality and a little bit of SPL???

They have three classes of subs. Which are going to be awesome for SQ/SPL for under $200?

I haven't looked at their current pricing so I couldn't tell ya there. Best to ask the guy who runs that shop, and tell him the kind of car you have, and type of music you prefer.
that'll make a difference, as will the amount of power you can feed them.

They're good.
There are better subs, but those are quite good.
really depends on what you're willing to spend.

I'm willing to spend about $250. Is that not enough to get a good high sound quality sub? I can get a 12" Diamond Audio M6 for $289. That is the absolute most I can spend on one 12. Should I look elsewhere or is this a great bargain?

Look at the Onyx SST12.4
12" 240wRMS 4 Ohms SVC for $210 each
www.onyxmobileaudio.com

or the Adire Shiva 12" sub for about $120 each at 650wRMS
