One IDMAX vs two RE SE

Could anybody tell me if I would be better off buying one IDMAX 12" (1000 rms) or two RE SE 12" subs (600 rms a piece). I have a kicker 550.2 amp which really puts out 620 watts. I am aiming for mainly SQ.

Also if I were to get the IDMAX will I be able to bridge it and still wire it with my amp so I get 620 watts x1 @ 2 ohms? It comes in dual 2 ohm or dual 4 ohm, so which of those two should I get?

Any advice will be greatly appreciated, thanks!

For SQ, the ID Max would be a better choice, and would work better with the power you plan to give. Since your amp is a 2 channel, get the ID Max dual 2 ohm, wire the coils in series, then bridge the amp for a 4 ohm bridge. If you want more SPL, consider a ported box.
