I'm looking for a single 8 inch sub that pounds pretty good. Not gonna put more than 200 wrms on it though. It's gonna go in a Tundra Double Cab. There's a little space on the rear bottom corner of the cab. The box has to be small though so I need recomendations on subs that work well on small sealed box.

Thank you in advance.

P.S. Wassup everyone. Hope everyone is doing well.

When you say small, how much space to you have, and the max deepth of sub,
I have the hilux a smaller verson of the tundra and u was only able to fit slimline 8" subs under rear seats
But you can fit pioneer 10" slimline under there and 12" slimline or std 8" behind rear seats

With out cuft and max deepth unless othet on here have the same car we wont be able to help verywell

Joe.....That box looks sweet and all but it's just not what I am looking for. I want to make a smallest box possible and just have a little bass.

Silver N Black....I traded in.

Ok Chad that was just in case, If you can't fit the .3 cuft box, Here's this, it fits a 0.15 cuft box:

I guess that's as low as it gets.

Rovin.....I am not getting any younger that's for sure. LOL. I am not all about bass no more. I just like to have some bass so the music has some presence. I am most likely gonna keep my stock speakers too. I will change out my stock stereo for a decent double din dvd and add 1 8 inch sub. I will be good to go. I will build my own box too.

cool bro

over the wk end i myself was researching d\din decks for my wagon & to me JVC seems like they have some of the nicest reasonably price models with alot of features , their usb in the back & detachable face are exactly what im looking for

the 1 thing i dont like about recent pioneer models is that the usb is located in front only & i dont like how that looks or afraid something or someone accidentally hits the m\stick & breaks it off\damages the usb port , i prefer rear usb & u can hide the m\stick in the glovebox

not really a fan of motorised faces too

dont get me wrong its still a great unit ....

There are ridiculously low profile USB sticks now, but yes I don't like that either it's just that sub-par SQ is (for me) the deal breaker.

Rovin,

I think you are looking at the 2300 and 3200 model. The 4300 has it on the back. If you flip the screen down it also has a SD slot.

2300DVD & 3300BT both have it on the front face

the 4300DVD does indeed have it on the back so ur right about that

my bad - sorry if my post mislead anybody ...

I think I'm leaning more towards the pioneer flat sub. I don't want to lose any cab space with a big box. I just need a little bass. My bass days are behind me now.
