ok here is my setup i got 2 kicker comp vr's wired at 2 ohms connected to my amp which is kickerkx600.1 positive to amp on battery using 4 gauge wire fuse in battery line 18" or lesssss speakers hooked to amp ground wire mounted to frame of car using 4 gauge
heres the question when my system was running the ground wire started to smoke so i cut the wire shorter about a foot shorter so its about like 15" and its working fine now....was my ground wire just to big or what? please help mee
You prolly didn't have a good connection and it was trying to short out. If its working fine now then you must have it right with a good connection. Good Luck
