Only 1 sub works at a time? WHY?

HELP ME

So I have a line output converter going from my 6x9s, but only one sub will run properly when I plug in the RCAs. Either will work depending on which I plug in so I know its not the amp or the subs. When theyre both plugged in they both vibrate like theyre working but basically no sounds comes out.

Its a sealed box and all so I dont really think the frequencies are matching up funny or anything. Any help?

They're probably wired out of phase. Check the sub connections and make sure they're wired the same. Closely monitor the movement of the subs, if one moves in while the other moves out, then cancellation will occur.

Thanks, thats all it was.

Now all I need to do is put a hole in the firewall without breaking something important.

Its a 98 grand prix if anyone knows a trick with that model.
