Alright, I bought an older model 600 Watt Kenwood amplifier. I had it hooked up, sounded great. Later in the day i noticed the amp was very hot. Soon after, the speakers stopped working. I checked the speakers and they were fine. I looked at the amp and the red power light was flashing, more flickering, turning off and on rapidly. I checked the fuses, they were fine. I checked the connection to the battery, also fine. I don't know what the problem could be? I'm hoping the amp isn't screwed up. Please let me know, I'll appreciate the help.

What model amp and what do you have wired to it?

You either went into thermal protection or fried it. Let's hope for the former.
